Who’s Who
The Revd Pamela Heazell
Vicar
My background is East Coast American with early growing up years spent in Montego Bay Jamaica. I am married to Gareth who is a teacher and we have four grown up children. We have been richly blessed with 6 grandchildren and enjoy our time spent with them. My working background is varied and I believe adds to what I can offer as an Ordained Priest in the church. I have experience as a Secretary having worked at Heffer’s Bookshop in Cambridge and a trained Cardiac Technician from Addenbrook’s and Papworth Hospitals. Using my medical background I worked as a House Mother in a boys boarding school in Scotland and later on worked in residential care for the elderly while my children were young. To embrace a whole different dimension on life, I trained as a Music librarian working at The Gramophone Music Magazine where my love of music was enhanced. During training for Ordination, I worked at Wesley Owen Christian Bookshop which enriched my faith and gave me grounding in customer respect and sensitivity.
As a Priest, I believe that God has called me to gather up the gifts of my life journey and to share my resources with those whom I minister to. I love working as a Priest by serving God with love and respect for others. I never get bored! and enjoy learning from so many gifted people whom I come into contact with.

The Revd Don Davis
Parish Priest
I was born in Bridgend, South Wales, in 1926, and one of my earliest memories is of Sunday School in the English Congregational Church, going to the Sunday evening services with my Grandfather, and singing in a children’s choir at the National Eisteddfod. Later, my mother took me to our Church in Wales, where I continued singing in the choir. Confirmation followed and some Sunday School teaching when in my teens, before I was called up into the RAF in 1945. Most of my time was spent in Egypt as a Safety Equipment Worker, supervising a parachute repair shop. Once demobbed in 1948, I embarked on a career in engineering, firstly at a steelworks in Scunthorpe. Molly and I married in 1950 and we have three children and five grandchildren. We moved to North Greenford in October 1956, and I have attended All Hallows ever since. As time passed by I progressed through being a sidesman, then as Churwarden from 1980. After a short nine months as a Lay Reader, I was asked to consider ordination. I was ordained Deacon at St Alban, North Harrow, in September 1996 and as priest at St Barnabas, Pitshanger Lane, in July 1997. Like Pamela, Stephen and Mark, I am a self supporting minister.

The Revd Mark Dean
Curate
This is a picture of me being ordained as deacon in St Paul’s Cathedral on 3 July 2010 (I’ll have to find a proper passport-type photo, but in the meantime, now that I am a ’minister of a recognised religion’, I can certify that this is a true likeness). It was a great day, but the next day was even better, when my family and I were given such a kind and generous welcome here at All Hallows that I was reminded of how Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to a great party: “Go therefore into the main streets, and invite everyone you find to the wedding banquet” (Matthew 22.9). Like all the clergy here at All Hallows, I am currently an SSM (Self Supporting Minister) and I also work as an artist, and teach part time in an art school. I am married to Erika, who is herself an artist, and we have been blessed with a lovely daughter, Anna, who is now a teenager. I studied for ordination at St Mellitus College, where I learned a lot about God, myself, and other people, and I am now very happy to be continuing my training as a curate here at All Hallows, a truly beautiful church, where everyone is made welcome – I look forward to meeting you soon.

Veronica Burnett
Churchwarden
I came from Jamaica many years ago to train as a Nurse and Midwife. Whilst training I moved to several cities around England before I settled in Greenford. I am married with two children and one grandchild. I started attending All Hallows Church over 30 years ago and I’ve been a Churchwarden for the last 5 years. I enjoy singing and taking part in church activities, currently I am involved with the Gospel Singing group. I am now a retired Midwife, and I’m enjoying my retirement years with my husband travelling to wonderful places around the world. God has blessed me in many ways throughout my life, for this I am thankful.

Martin Mallam
Churchwarden
I have lived in the parish for the last 30 years and been a councillor, for the Ward, for 16 of those years. This included being Leader of the Council and Mayor of Ealing. I am now in my second stint as Church Warden. I am now retired from work which was in the insurance industry, mainly in the City, but life seems even more hectic. I am and have been chairman of governors of Willow Tree Primary School in Northolt for the past 32 years and held various posts in North Greenford Residents Association, currently East Area Chairman. As a pastime, other than gardening and DIY, I am a season ticket holder at Fulham Football Club and spent the season travelling round Europe watching the club from Vilnius in Latvia to the final in Hamburg, most of them with my two sons. My wife Rosemarie did moan a little bit last season as we were away so much but she still helps with the cleaning at church. Rosemarie and myself also enjoy exploring the world from a cruise ship.

Margaret Cobley
PCC Secretary
I have been a member of All Hallows for over 20 years and during that time, amongst other things, have completed a 12 year stint as PCC Secretary, followed by a very busy 6 year term as Churchwarden. I enjoy the practical jobs but have an aptitude for figures and admin work – I am one of a minority that enjoys Maths! As well as being involved in the Parish finances I am also involved in the Deanery and Willesden Area finance teams. I am one of your Deanery Synod representatives and also on the Willesden Area Council. In my spare time I sew cross stitch (and church banners!), I garden, sing lots, sometimes swim, and have just completed 20 years as a volunteer at Horsenden Primary School, helping in the classroom – great fun and very rewarding work. I have had no time for paid work, I leave that to my husband Glyn and son Chris, who both work for London Underground.
